Very nice. What is planned for the space between the engine? Just curious.

I was considering an armchair and minibar. Seriously I am desperately trying not to fill the space full of the usual junk. The hot water heater will probably fill part of the space.

I've narrowed my search for tank fabricators down to Dura Weld and another...happy with product/price?

Hi Brian

As for price. I am almost never "happy" with the price of quality marine products. But over the years I have decided that being somewhat unhappy with the price is better that being totally unhappy with the product. Gareth will give you a quote, he will deliver on time and near enough to the original estimate (on one occasion under). I am totally happy with Gareth and his team at Dura Weld and recommend them without reservation.

Very nice tanks. I am leaning toward doing the same with my belly tanks. Will you be adding gauges to them also? What kind?

Hi Scott (JdeV). No gauges. I will effectively have three tanks (Stbd belly, Port belly and ER.) After a while you get a very good feel for water usage. As each tank is used up you will know when you have to get more water. Only crisis occurs when one tank runs out when the boss is in the shower.

45 gallons of water is enough for a very long trip, I suppose. You just have to suggest to your boss to reduce his/her water usage, while taking a shower. It could really be a difficult situation when you run out of water while on the trip. I suggest that you add another tank if it’s possible.

Hi Richelle

I have 4 other tanks in the original tank position under the deck in the salon. This gives me another 70 gals. Thanks for your comments.
